Distracted driving has been a huge issue nationwide yet not all states have banned cellphone usage while driving. 10% of drivers  under the age of 20, are distracted when involved in a crash. About 660,000 drivers are using cell phones  while driving, each day. 
  • 4.6 seconds without looking at the road is like driving blindfolded over a football field.

  • will prevent deathly accidents.

  • Another way for the goverment to take money from people.

  • Law wouldnt be fair; rural areas and urban areas. 

  • Wont decrease car accidents.

  • Means more surveilliance on the roadways.

 Distracted Driving (DD) is defined as being engaged in something other then the task of driving. Distracted driving is broken down into three Categories.

  • Visual Distraction (Eyes off the road)

  • Manual Distraction (Hands off the wheel)

  • Cognitive Distraction (Mind off of Driving)
